Dr. Holzer has extensive experience in international patent disputes and arbitration proceedings, as well as in other areas of IP and competition law, with a particular focus on patent litigation and transactions. He advises clients across a wide range of industries and technologies, including pharmaceuticals, medical devices, telecommunications (including Standard-Essential Patents and FRAND cases), software, and foodstuffs.

In 2010, the Swiss Parliament appointed Dr. Holzer as an adjunct judge of the Swiss Federal Patent Court (Bundespatentgericht), which has jurisdiction over patent disputes throughout Switzerland. Dr. Holzer is a frequent speaker and author on IP litigation and other intellectual property topics.
