Iouri Kobiako von Gamm holds a Master of Science with Distinction in physics from the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (“PhysTech”), as well as a degree in IP law from the Russian State Academy of Intellectual Property. Iouri is the founding partner of the IP law firm “Kobiako – von Gamm”.

Before returning to a private practice in 2012, Iouri spent circa 7 years with the corporate licensing department of Siemens AG, where he developed and supervised numerous bilateral and multilateral international licensing projects and programs in diverse technological areas, assisting various business divisions including Telecommunications, Industrial Solutions & Services, and Building Technologies.
